My Birthday Cake with Fondant 2013

Gateau d'anniversaire au fondant.

This is my birthday cake this year 2013, a vanilla cake
coated with white chocolate syrup , I chose to cover it
with fondant (for the first time), you can replace it by using Marzipan,
I've already posted a Birthday cake with Marzipan on the blog.
I prepared a great cake, that I cut in half and filled with a cream
chantilly. For the fondant, I covered the cake with white
fondant, the rest I colored to decorate the cake with.

To change a litte bit from the traditional roll cakes, I offer
this beautiful cake recipe rolled with white chocolate with
a pattern, I simplified the work for you as you can see in
the video, I'll show you a very simple design, but you can
choose any design you like to please your children. If you
want a chocolate cake, you can add melted chocolate to
the dough, for the stuffing you can stuff the cake with a
chocolate ganache, you can find it on my blog, I chose  to
garnish my cake with white chocolate (my favorite)
and strawberries.

Chicken baked with dried fruit recipe is videotaped with
my son Idriss, this is not the first time, he has presented to you
videos from time to time since he was little just like Jenna-Aicha
his sister that you know well. We chose to present this recipe for
Baked Chicken with dried fruits  in German language after numerous
requests from my German speaking fans. Idriss speaks German,
he was born in Germany ...We had a lot of fun
as you can see on the video .


A very simple recipe that does not require many ingredients,
chicken, dried fruits and spices, you can choose to replace
one ingredient with another, add raisins for example to make
the dish a little sweet, be creative in this recipe.

Krachel ou Qrachel is a traditional Moroccan sweet bread flavored with sesame seeds...I already posted a Krachel recipe on 2011, my mother's recipe. I posted another recipe Krachel with chocolate on 2009, in the same year I posted the third recipe, unfortunately the video was hacked.

So today I am presenting you the basic Moroccan traditional recipe, 

recipe. You can moderate the flavors by replacing anise seeds or sesame 

seeds with another flavor. In Morocco, we eat Krachels with honey, butter

and jam for breakfast, Krachel is also an excellent snack for children.

Tagine sardines is one of my favorite tagines, it a pleasure to prepare.

As you know, it is almost  impossible to find fresh sardines or even frozen

here in the USA, it was a huge surprise to find sardines in a store  here,

of course frozen ;) . It's strange for me to be so happy about frozen sardines

when in Morocco we usually don't eat sardines when they are not caught

on the same day.

Of course I bought a lot because I intend to present you  different recipes

with sardines inchaallah, but today I start with a Moroccan Tagine, I called

it that way because the  sardines are stuffed with the charmoula,

the famous Moroccan sauce.
